What is this?

Born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada early on. I returned to Hong Kong in 2014, and experienced the 2019 anti-extradition law protests. It was then that I developed a strong recognition of being a “Hongkonger”. Now being back in Canada, I am hoping to use my creativity to continue the fight for freedom and democracy.

The 2019 protests had connected me to art. Yet for many protest artists in the new Hong Kong, their creativity has been silenced by the government. Since these artists are restrained from exercising creative freedom, perhaps I can learn to draw and continue their mission.

Rockfroggers is about the fight against tyranny in a fantasy
world. As some people are transformed into demons by greed and corruption, the world becomes dark and gloomy. However, what would you do if given the
chance to travel back in 2019? What does a dystopian 2029 look like? I hope by
exploring different topics, I may discover answers during my creative process
with the diverse perspectives from each character, timeline and world setting.
